In order to achieve this objective, we are guided by the values of tradition and passion.
Soft, harmonious, full and well-balanced wine with straw yellow colour. It impresses the nose thanks to its multifaceted and fragrant perfume that gives off almond and citrus emotions, where it is possible to recognise a fresh pineapple touch. Perfect with aperitifs, highly recommended with starters, fresh cheeses, black truffle dishes, fish and white meat.
DOWNLOAD TECHNICAL SHEETRuby-red with grainy shades. The bouquet is intense and firm, with hints of cloves. The tannin is soft, captivating and fully evolved. Excellent with charcuterie and fresh and aged cheese. Perfect with red and game meat.
DOWNLOAD TECHNICAL SHEETFull red wine, tending to ruby red. Complex aromatic nuances that range from black cherry to blueberries and also to chocolate. A sumptuous expression of ripe fruit that runs through the mouth with invasive persistence, typical of a great Amarone. The finale closes with sinuous tobacco and new leather notes. Perfect with important red meat dishes and aged cheese. As meditation wine impeccable with dark chocolate.
DOWNLOAD TECHNICAL SHEETOnepiò Winery produces wine in two areas: Lugana and Valpolicella Classica. The vineyards are cultivated traditionally, specifically 30 hectares in Lugana and 3 hectares in Valpolicella Classica. Two different regions, two of the smallest micro areas in Italy with similar characteristics: mild weather, not very cold winters and warm summers. Thanks to this climate, the ripe grapes develop a higher sugar extract during the harvest, as well as a good dry extract in order to obtain structured and long-lasting wines.
Valpolicella Classica, more precisely Fumane, is the original and most ancient area of Valpolicella, in which Onepiò Winery owns three hectares of vineyards. It is located on the eastern side of Lake Garda, a few miles from the city centre of Verona. This micro area, one of the smallest in the world, includes five historical municipalities: Fumane, Marano di Valpolicella, Negrar, San Pietro in Cariano, Sant’Ambrogio di Valpolicella. This region is characterized by the presence of Lessini hills and mild gentle breezes blowing from Lake Garda, so as to form a sort of natural amphitheatre. This ensures an ideal environment for a winemaking terroir. The soil in Fumane contains a good level clay concentration. The hillside areas enable perfect sun exposure for the three local varieties of grapes: Corvina, Corvinone and Rondinella. These vines can withstand cold winter temperatures and boast excellent oenological qualities.
The Lugana region is mainly a plain area, characterised by rich and fertile soil with clay
concentration. These types of clays have morainic and sedimentary origin, predominantly
limestone, rich in minerals. The soil in Lugana is hard and dense during droughts, and it turns
muddy during rainy seasons. Despite the difficulties of treating this soil, the sand-like clays of
the hilly areas are responsible for providing the precious organoleptic qualities of Lugana.
These characteristics result in strong perfumes ranging from almond to citrus fruits, and
influence the body, colour, acidity and flavour. This area is also enhanced by its location:
temperature variation between day and night is rather low thanks to the presence of Lake
Garda, which surrounds the terroir with mild gentle breezes.
In Lugana it is cultivated the Turbiana, noble and ancient vine that produces a rich white wine with a wide range of
perfumes and nuances.
